The Wedding.

Me and my mams side of the family attended my second-cousin Holly's wedding. It was the Isle of Wedfest and it was the most original and amazing wedding i have been to and will ever go to. It was festival themed and they had multiple bands playing, along with a photobooth, vip section, a bar and food area and much more. They also had a huge sweets area of which i took way too many for the car journey home. It was all of the small details that mattered, like the typewriter to write messages, all of the lovely items in the bathroom (tablets, dry shampoo, hairspray, plasters, feminine stuff and much more), the tea area and all of the jars that were individually decorated. It honestly must have taken for ever to make everything perfect and how they wanted it. I wanted to do a blog post on this since the wedding but havent gotten the chance. But here you go! here are some photos from the wedding:) The wedding was held in a huge tent with wooden flooring!

The lovely cake selection, all bite-sized:)

The huge sweet selection that everyone loved and we had cute little bags for them.

The cheese selection!

This was the tea area, i loved the little touches like the milk bottles.

These were the cakes that were entered into the competition:)

There were lots Of these on all of the tables:)

Rimmel match perfection review

When I was in town last week, I was in boots and i had some money left over. I wasn't exactly sure what to spend it on and I spent so long in the shop that my bestfriend, who wants nothing to do with makeup was getting annoyed. I finally gave in to my original thought and picked up the Rimmel Match Perfection in 100 ivory. The shade is definitely lighter than my wake me up foundation by Rimmel and a little bit too light. However as the one I bought is too light and my wake me up is too dark, I mixed them, having double the amount of match perfection to wake me up. I like to think it is the perfect colour.

The consistency of this foundation is definitely more duey. It spreads a lot easier and blends better than the Wake me up. The coverage I would say is medium, however buildable if you want more coverage. I also found that once you tried to wash it off, it would come of so easily, which is not nessicarily a good thing. During this time of the year, the weather isn't always going to be great, sometimes it rains and sometimes it doesn't. Luckily for me it hasn't rained or I haven't gone outside wearing this when it's been raining. When I went on a run on Sunday, there were tears coming from my eyes, and the tears were just washing  the foundation away. I ended up with streaks where it had gone.
The foundation is £6.99 so £2 cheaper than Wake me up.

Overall, I'd say this foundation is good   for the price of it. I'd say that there are probably better drugstore foundations. The fact it was so runny put me off it too. Until I find a better one, I will continue to use this!

Happy shopping!

Natural oils.

I have the kind of skin that is never clear of a blemish, no matter what products I use. I have tried freederm, clearasil, simple, all of the cleansers and I am always trying to find something that is oil-controlling, blemish healer/preventing and not too pricey. After watching Fleur DeForce's video, my makeup bag secret weapons, I became aware of tea tree oil. Yes, I know, I'm very late on the band wagon with this one. So I did a little research and found the one she uses from The Body Shop for £7.00. Although it is fair trade and organic, I just couldn't force myself to pay that much for such a small bottle, I'm only young.

When I was in poundland the other day, I found a little bottle of it for £1.00, obviously. So I thought, why not, it's too good to leave. As I was going to the counter, I passed more skin care items, and what caught my eye was Argan oil. They didn't have the actual oil, however they did have a hair mask, hair treatment, wipes and some cream. I also know that Argan oil is good for your skin. So I did what any normal person would do and buy some of it. I picked up the hair treatment oil and the cream.

I have used the tea tree oil on my skin in the morning and at night a couple times. I must say there is a difference. My skin seems to clear itself up. I am also using other products with it, but there are definitely some results to be seen. With the Argan oil hair treatment, I have only used it once, which was tonight, so I don't think the improvements will be here yet. The Argan cream I have used a few times before bed and my skin feels so soft and healthy after using it.

Don't do what I did and spend loads of money on products that sometimes don't work. Get the basics first! If you have any skin care products or moisturisers that you think I should try, leave them below!

Hapoy Shopping!

MUA lipsticks

I am not normally to adventurous with what I put on my lips, normally just a lip balm or a lip gloss I find in my makeup collection. However recently I have been drawn to wanting to try a MUA lipstick. On my lips I normally just wear a light pink or something along the lines of that, so I thought why not and bought a bright red.

I have to say it but for £1.00 these are incredible. They are actually really pigmented and they glide on easy, no tugging involved. I got mine on the shade Scarlett Siren as it was the brightest, purest red they had. The colour lasts a while I applied some then slept in it by accident, when I woke up, I still had a red tint on my lips.

I seriously cannot down this as it was so cheap. I definitely recommend going online or to your nearest Superdrug and checking them out. Well worth the money  ! Yes, the packaging looks cheap and not the best, but trust me, looks can be deceiving.

happy shopping!

11 Facts about me

1. i am a more trainers person than slip-on shoes

2. I have a wall of stuff that is full of posters and pictures and it is growing
3. I love Disney so much!
4. My top 3 Disney films are - the little mermaid
                                          - Aladdin
                                          - Beauty and the beast
5. i have blonde hair and as i really like the colour of it, i probably wont dye it anytime soon
6. i watch WAY to many youtube videos
7. i may or may not have a *little* crush on Alfie Deyes (sorry zoe)
8. im not sure what job i want, however i don't think i need to be deciding so early in my life
9. i had an orange obsession phase. It was so bad that i had a fruit bowl in my room and had at least 2 every night.
10. My all time favourite films include Mean girls, Aquamarine and White chicks. However, i do also like films like Batman, Pirates of the Caribbean and Divergent *hehe*
11. i am a huge reader and have started to get more into YA. I adore John Green and his books. I also love the Divergent Trilogy and i have Fangirl

What is your favourite clothes shop?

- Converse or Vans?   Converse, they go with everything

- Superdrug or Boots?  Boots, but with Tanya Burr's new makeup line coming out that could change to superdrug. We will have to see!

-What inspired you to become a blogger?   I really liked the idea of having my own personal little space on the internet. I guess people would like to see things that i want to post

-Do you have any talents? (other than blogging)   I think that i am okay at singing but i would never sing properly in front of anyone

- Who was the first person you told about your blog?  I was my mam and i asked her if she thought it was a good idea (even though i had already started it). i have not told any of my friends yet!

- Neutral or bright lipsticks?   i am not really a lipstick kind of girl, however i have tried both and suit Neutrals more as i have quite a tanned skin tone

-If you had your own makeup/clothing brand, what would you call it?    This one is a hard one. i thought about it for a while and came up with FaceLipsSkin by Annie (its all i got)

-What is your worst habit?    I pick at my toenails, it is not as bad as it sounds

-If you could only wear one makeup product for the rest of your life, what would it be?   It would have to be concealer, more specifically Collection Lasting Perfection. I feel like foundation on its own would look strange, whereas i could work that concealer and it has good coverage

Shopping haul.

I love a good shop. Going out and choosing a nice outfit, some accessories, it's just fun. I went shopping at the Metro centre today. If you are not familiar with the Metro Centre, it is a huge shopping centre in the North East I think. It's one of those place where you need to go early in the morning, have dinner then come back. Anyway, I am at a wedding in a few weeks, it's in May, and I needed a dress so my mam took me shopping for an outfit. It took a while and we kind of lost track and bought a bit more then we needed, some of it was hers. So I thought, seeing as I have just been shopping, why not do a haul post:)

Enjoy

The Fault in our Stars review

I read The Fault in our Stars by John Green a while ago and didn't have a blog then so i thought i would write a review on it now. I think that some of you will have read it and if not then i recommend going online or to a bookstore and picking it up. It is so worth the read.

The story is about Hazel Grace Lancaster, a teenager who has cancer. She meets Augustus Waters at the Cancer Support Group. It is a heart-warming and well written novel that touches the heart of anyone that reads it.

There is also a movie coming out in the U.K on June 20th 2014 which i am super excited about as the trailer looks AMAZING, like super good. They have included so much detail into this film and i think it is going to be one of the best films that i will watch.

Rimmel Wake Me Up

I know that a lot of beauty bloggers and youtubers have been going on about this foundation for a while.. so i thought i would pick it up. As i am 13, i dont earn any money by working so it is hard to find a foundation that works as it is supposed to. However, i used this and was really impressed with the results.

This foundation is used by beauty bloggers such as Zoella and Tanya Burr and i am not surprised. It gives great coverage and lasts on your face pretty much most of the day. At £8.99 (Boots -  i don't know if it is priced differently in other shops) you can't not at least give it a try. This foundation says that it gives an anti-fatigue effect and a radiant glow, i can confirm that it definitely does do both of them. Wake Me Up also has spf 15 which i guess is a bonus:)

overall, this foundation is too good not to try and you will love it!

enjoy!

Scotland.

I am currently in Scotland, so I have taken some photos and wanted to share them! We arrived late last night so everything was closed and it was super windy. So when we woke up we decided we were going swimming. We went to this small pool in Jedburgh, but I really liked it. Then we came back to the lodge and got changed. Once we were ready we headed for our next destination for a little bit, Melrose. Melrose is such a cute little place with shops, bookshops, coffee shops, bakery, butchers and much more. I really like Melrose and would recommend it as it is one of my favourite places! We went to one of the butchers to get steak for tea. We then headed near St Boswells as my parents wanted to go the garden centre. We went to Milestone Garden centre i believe and it was alright. We then went back to Jedburgh and to a pub (i didnt drink obviously) then headed back to the lodge! Pretty much all day i have been taking pictures for this post, so i hope you enjoy them!

thanks
